This movie car driven by Will Smith is up for sale for $150k

If you have a cool $150k laying around, you can own a celebrity car that will be quite the conversation starter. That’s because the 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 driven by Will Smith in the movie ‘I Am Legend’ is up for sale on Ebay.

Actually, there were 6 For Mustang Shelby GT500s produced for the filming of ‘I Am Legend’, but 5 of them were crushed by Ford after filming wrapped because of various damages the cars sustained. The lucky last Mustang Shelby that survived was actually driven by Smith in the film and used for close-up shots.

The production company held onto the car until recently selling it to New Milford Motors in Connecticut, which has not put it up for sale.

Will Smith’s character, Dr. Robert Neville, roamed the deserted streets of New York City in this red coup in the sci-fi thriller. The car has 500 horsepower supercharge v8 and was one of the fastest and most powerful cars of its time.
