“Is he wearing a suit with shorts?” That’s what everybody was asking when LeBron James came on to the scene this past Thursday to face the Golden State Warriors.
The suit-short combination was widely panned and now some are suspecting the look is cursed since the Cavaliers ended up losing game one in such a disappointing manner. That is after LeBron racked up 51 points!
The suit is from New York designer Thom Browne. According to a breakdown from The Undefeated, the complete outfit, including the alligator bag that cost a whopping $41,000!, costs $46,964.95. Obviously, the suit was a small part of the jaw dropping total.
Will this be the outfit of the summer? NBA commissioner Adam Silver thinks so. “I’m behind a podium, so you can’t see mine,” Silver joked. “You know, LeBron defines fashion. If LeBron is wearing shorts, it must be in.”
Some people on social media weren’t too sure about the look.
