Nothing says holiday season, like snuggling up on the couch with some hot cocoa and a good movie. If you’re struggling with ideas on what to watch with the family, Allied Multictural has you covered. Here are a couple of new films that are family-friendly and binge-worthy.

 Image Name Disney’s “Disenchanted”

After 15 years, Enchanted is back with a brand-new warped version of the happily ever after fairy tale! Starring Amy Adams (Giselle), Patrick Dempsey (Robert), Maya Rudolph (Malvina Monroe), and Yvette Nicole Brown (Rosaleen), this film takes you on a magical journey in a race against time to reverse the mess protagonist, Giselle has gotten into and determine what happily ever after truly means. Newlywed Giselle (Amy Adams) and Robert (Patrick Dempsey) live happily ever after. Still, Giselle has grown disillusioned with life in the city. Hence, they move their growing family to the sleepy suburban community of Monroeville in search of a more fairy-tale life. Unfortunately, it isn’t the quick fix she had hoped for. Suburbia has a new set of rules and a local queen bee, Malvina Monroe (Maya Rudolph), who makes Giselle feel more out of place than ever. Frustrated that her happily ever after hasn’t been so easy to find, she turns to the magic of Andalasia for help, accidentally transforming the entire town into a real-life fairy tale and placing her family’s future happiness in jeopardy. Now, Giselle is in a race against time to reverse the spell and determine what happily ever after truly means to her and her family.

Directed by Adam Shankman (Executive Producer Hocus Pocus 2, Hairspray), and Executive Produced by Jo Burn (Cats, Overlord, Game of Thrones); Sunil Perkash (Enchanted, Salt) Adam Shankman, the film premieres November 18: on Disney+.
