Trevor Noah makes history as first African comedian to sell out Madison Square Garden
Funnyman (and serious intellectual) Trevor Noah has been sailing high since taking over The Daily Show on Comedy Central. Now, he has made history as the first African comedian to sell out the world famous venue Madison Square Garden in New York.
Before Noah, there have only been nine other comedians to sell out the massive venue, including Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and Kevin Hart. The venue has a capacity of 22, 226 seats.
The performance at Madison Square Garden took place on November 8th, 2019.
The South African comedian is currently on a Loud and Clear Tour. The tour will be heading to Europe in early 2020.
