Here are some of my favorites from social media:

Happy #blackpanther weekend! We’ll be sharing our take on #wakandastyle all weekend. Next Saturday, February 24th we’ll be exhibiting some of our #afroart series at Discovery High School’s annual Black History Month Event in Lawrenceville, GA. As part of our “Be Bold & Beautiful” exhibit, a few local area students were given an opportunity to be photographed by us and included in our upcoming exhibit. Click the link in profile for more info on this event. Special thanks to @hitexturehair salon for providing hair/makeup services for the students! ??????????????????????? JAILA’s WINNING ENTRY: “ Growing up as an African-American female, not always surrounded by others who look like me, I had to learn to be comfortable in my own skin. Throughout the bad bantu knots and failed braid-outs, I’ve grown inti my hair in a way that I’m proud to call it mine no matter how it looks! My hair is an ever changing accessory that always keeps me feeling bold and beautiful. While it isnt a necessity, my hair gives me more reasons to live my life in a bold and beautiful way. ”

JADA’S WINNING ENTRY: “I love my life in a Bold and Beautiful way because I am a special needs sibling. My oldest brother, Christian, has seizures and is autistic. For me it is a great experience and sometimes it can be hard, but overall our family makes it work. When people laugh at him, I feel sad. I still stand up for him because he does not know how to stand up for his self.???‍♀??. Sis and bro always bond(always connected). And I have my own unique style. I love my life because having my brother helps me be proud of who I am. Everyone is not born the same and that is okay.
